At iAM Dance Center of the Arts, we believe every person deserves a place to discover their gifts, grow in confidence, and feel like they belong.
Founded by Andrea McCoy, iAM Dance was created with one mission:
To provide exceptional arts education while inspiring purpose, leadership, and lifelong confidence through movement.
Today, we’ve grown into much more than a dance studio.
We’re a creative home where dancers, athletes, families, schools, organizations, and our community come together to learn, perform, create, & thrive.
OUR STORY
What began as a dream to create quality dance education has grown into a multi-service arts center serving Lancaster & surrounding communities.
Over the years, iAM Dance has expanded to offer competitive dance opportunities, educational programs, fitness classes, custom apparel, studio rentals, hosted competitions, and community events, allowing us to impact students both inside and outside the studio.
Every class, event, and program is built on the belief that greatness is developed through consistency, discipline, and heart.

Andrea McCoy
DIRECTOR, FOUNDER
Andrea is the Founder & Director of iAM Dance Center of the Arts. Dedicated to developing confident dancers & inspiring leaders she strives to create endless opportunities through dance education, professional development, competitive performances, mentorship & more. Her passion is helping every student grow in skill, character and purpose.
Her love for dance, planning & business ultimately led to the creation iAM Customs - Dance Apparel, hosting adult fitness & dance classes, and putting on 4-6 majorette dance competitions per year.

Jordan Alexander
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Jordan is a passionate dance instructor and choreographer dedicated to inspiring confidence, discipline, and creativity in every dancer she teaches. Specializing in majorette, hip-hop, and performance training, she is committed to developing well-rounded dancers by focusing on strong technique, performance quality, teamwork, and personal growth. -

Kyra Clyburn
STUDENT INTERN
Kyra “AK-47” Clyburn is a talented and versatile dancer from Lancaster, South Carolina, and a proud former Captain of the Red Rose Mafia Majorette Team at iAM Dance Center of the Arts for 5 1/2 years. With over a decade of experience, she has trained in multiple styles and performed on stages across the region, including appearances with ProForce Cheer, DD4L Buck or Die, South Carolina State Champagne and workshops with dancers from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.An honor student and 2026 Junior Marshal, Kyra is known for her leadership, precision, and undeniable stage presence.
